Is versioning supported for Web apps on AGO?

The service being used is published on ArcGIS server 10.2.2.  The app works perfectly when the data is not registered as versioned in an ArcSDE database, but when registered the user can draw the shape, but it does not stick and the attribute popup does not appear.

Am I missing something?

Thank you.

Yes, it is supported as long as all the permissions are set correctly.

Yes, you need to make sure that Feature Access is enabled on the map service as well.

Publish features—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS

In this link specifically look at Publish from ArcMap.

Editor permissions for feature services—Documentation (10.3 and 10.3.1) | ArcGIS for Server

This link gives instruction for setting Edit capabilities on a feature service.

I hope this helps.

We had a version named the same in test and production with different permissions on it.  We needed to make sure the the version had public access in our test environment.

It should work as long as your version is in an SDE database with the feature access enabled for editing.
