Configured Esri World Geocoding - Returns two addresses

I have recently configured Esri World Geocoding Service for my organisation

e.g. https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-online/mapping/configure-locator-organization/ 

And there is an option where you choose where the location of the address should be returned. i.e.

On the side of the street (routing location)

On the rooftop or parcel centroid (address location)

It doesn't matter which one of these I choose when I use the locator in an app both addresses are returned. I only want one address to be returned not both of them?

What am I doing wrong here could someone please let me know. Thank-you
