Is anyone noticing that simply going to theArcGIS.com  homepage tends to hang interminably on the Chrome browser?  I know that there was an ArcGIS server issue with v29 or so but I'm on v34 and simply going to the website to log-in as a user.

I have noticed that certain layers cannot load on chrome but can on firefox.

I've been experiencing a similar issue in that I cannot view the login page for arcgis.com in certain versions of Chrome in OS X. Specifically,

  • Chrome 36.0.1985.125 on OS X Maverick (home): Ok, everything works perfectly.
  • Chrome 36.0.1985.143 on OS X Mountain Lion (work): Cannot see login dialog for ArcGIS.com, but all other esri web properties seem to work fine.

Firefox and Safari work fine, but Chrome has been my primary browser for years.  This problem just became apparent a week or two ago.

We are having private content issues with a webmap that we host as map service on our ArcGIS Server v10.0.  None of the layers from our Map Service will load when using Chrome, and IE generates a secure content warning requiring user input prior to loading the layers from our server.  I have not had any issues using Safari.  Browsing maps with private content has shown that this behavior appears to be relatively common using Chrome.
