Add Shapefile from 'My Content' to webmap

I have been using ArcGIS Online for a few months now, but today I ran into a snag.  I've uploaded a Shapefile from my HDD to 'My Content' and want to add it to a web map for editting.  I then want to download the Shapefile back to my HDD once editting is done.

I can import a zipped Shapefile directly from the HDD to a webmap, but not from 'My Content'.  Is there something I am missing?

You need to get a subscription in order to download edits you make.
