Removing the USA Topo from the Basemap Gallery is a real bummer. Sure I can still get it in my existing maps but it's clunky at best.
It was glorious to be able to start with the generic "Topographic" basemap when zoomed way out, but not being able to switch to the USA Topo when zoomed in tight is brutal.
Sorry, here are my ideas.
1) Expand the Basemap Gallery instead of deleting important things like this.
2) Enhance, yes I said enhance the usage of the USA Topo basemap. Make it possible to switch automatically from one basemap to another dependent on scale.
