Would like to have a spatial join function available in ArcGIS Online. Specifically, the ability to have this available in the Find Existing Locations tool. When running this tool on a layer that contains multiple shapes, the resulting table does not append an ID for the specific shape for each location that is contained within the shape. For a retailer, how we understand our points of distribution in a marketplace is frequently related to where they exist in relation to a city or trade zone area. Without a spatial join function associated with the find existing locations the ability to tag stores with a city metro name associated with a city boundary is very cumbersome requiring the analysis to be done one city at a time instead of being able to run the analysis on all the cities in a country or greater geographical area.
