Reset individual layer properties in the web map to source layer

The layer properties status window is a good visual indicator of whether a layer's configuration has drifted from some defined standard or default state. The break down of which pieces of configuration is also very helpful.

I would like to be able to reset individual pieces of the layer configuration. For example, a "reset configuration to source layer" button in this window if I wanted to only reset the Blending properties:
