It would be great improvement to ArcGIS online if user could specify position of the label for each object individually so that label is positioned depending on x offset or y offset specified in the attribute for that record as well as placement of text Centered/Above Left Above Right etc.
Often times we see labels overlapp and this would allow users to place them more custom so that labels are more organized.
I hope the rest of the community finds this useful and Esri considers this as important improvement to the system.
I completely agree! The ability to control label placement using attribute-driven X/Y offsets and positioning options would be a game-changer for improving label clarity in ArcGIS Online. Overlapping labels are a common issue, and having this level of customization would help keep maps more readable and organized. Additionally, being able to override label placement directly in ArcGIS Online, rather than having to convert to annotation, would be extremely helpful. I hope Esri considers this an important enhancement!
I think it will greatly benefit everyone and visually it would reduce the clutter without the overlap. It more sounds like adding weights to the labelling just like in the Arcpro. Would be great to have if implemented.
Agreed that this would be useful, and implementation should include an option to auto-populate new XY offset and positioning attribute columns based on the existing label placement (default or otherwise). That would allow the user to then tweak the values where needed.
