My organization has content syncing from ArcGIS Enterprise to ArcGIS Online through a one-way distributed collaboration. The collaboration is by copies only to share data with the public. A problem that we are running into is we are getting alerts for comments being made on the items in ArcGIS Online but the comments are often deleted before we have a chance to log in and view them. We are assuming the distributed collaboration sync is overwriting the comments.
Please enable a way for comments to be ignored when sharing items through distributed collaborations. The added benefit to ignoring comments in the sync is public comments stay on the ArcGIS Online side and staff comments stay on the ArcGIS Enterprise side.
