The issue: View layers currently lock the parent layer. This precents users from making changes like updated to field domain lists.
To get around the lock you must delete the view layers.
The solution Idea:
Add new functions to Pause and Refresh the view layer. This pause will unlock the parent layer, and allow users to update anything needed in the parent layer.
After updating the parent layer , the user will un-pause and refresh the view layer.
This will save users time ,as they will no longer need to delete the view layer and recreate it in order for the view to reflect the updated parent layer.
