Edit display attribute header in edit tab

When multiple features are selected from the edit tab in Map Viewer, the features are labeled using the Display Field that was set in ArcGIS Pro when the feature was published. 

According to this Question, there's no way to control the Display Field or the edit tab labels inside ArcGIS Online.  It would be helpful if these labels were controled by the Pop-Up title or through the edit form.

We have some new enhancements coming that should help with that. For hosted feature layers, the titles draw from different places depending on the layer configuration. If you configure a pop-up title in ArcGIS Online, that should be displayed. If no pop-up title has been authored, then it defaults to the Display field, or in some cases the Object ID.

I tried that and it didn't work.  It seems to only use the display field regardless of what's in the pop-up title.
