We would like to request the capability to create a 'Public Gallery Group' that contains selected Web Experiences and Instant Apps intended for use by external users. Similar to the current functionality available for internal users, we would like the option to configure this group so that its content is showcased in the public gallery for non-signed-in users.
At present, it appears that any information layers, Instant Apps, or Web Experiences set to public are automatically displayed in the external gallery.
By enabling the ability to filter and display only specific layers, Web Experiences, and Instant Apps for public users, we can enhance the user experience and provide more tailored and relevant content to external audiences.
Attached, you will find two images for reference:
- Image 1: Demonstrates the current capability to set a group for the internal gallery. This functionality does not appear to extend to the external gallery.
- Image 2: Illustrates that all publicly available data is currently shown in the external gallery.
Note: An easier way to implement this may result in the external and internal galley using the same group, however, only public maps are shown in the external gallery. However, this would mean the internal galley would showcase Maps intended for public use.
