It would be great to have built-in email functionality to alert a user when a new feature is created. If Esri is worried about there being too many features or too many emails, then you could limit it to one email per day per feature layer, or something like that.
AGOL already has built-in email notifications for failed pipeline jobs. This idea is to expand that built-in email functionality, which would be preferred over more fragile Power Automate integrations.
This is something that Esri’s competitors do well, such as IBM Maximo. Everyday, non-admin users can set up built-in, reliable email notifications with the click of a button. It’s wonderful. It would be great to do that in AGOL too.
