Web styles are available to create custom symbols to share with our ArcGIS Online organization but they currently only support the web scene viewer (3D) and not the web map viewer (2D). Support for this feature with 2D maps, including the ability to set the default group for custom symbol palettes, would make it easy to provide standardized custom symbology for our web users that do not use desktop.
