I would like the ability to assign viewer-only roles within a shared update group, allowing the same content to be shared with everyone while restricting editing to designated users. This would reduce accidental edits, simplify group management, and eliminate the need to create separate groups just to control permissions. Currently, groups are often forced to create multiple versions of essentially the same group to control permissions. This leads to confusion and extra maintenance that complicates collaboration and data management.
