I would like to be able to share in-progress applications for review without:
- Making the app fully public
- Requiring the client to have ArcGIS Online accounts
- Restricting access to organization/group membership
This forces teams into uncomfortable workarounds such as temporarily setting apps to public or duplicating environments for staging.
Requested enhancement
Introduce a new sharing option for Experience Builder, Instant, and Storymap apps:
“Unlisted / Direct Link Access”
This mode would:
- Allow access via a long, non-discoverable URL, similar to the sharing option in Microsoft products
- Not require ArcGIS Online login
- Not be publicly listed
- Only allow access to users who have the direct link
- Remain separate from “Public” sharing
Suggested sharing model
Add a fourth sharing level alongside existing options:
Private
Organization / Groups
Public (Discoverable)
Unlisted / Direct URL (Link-only access)
