I am trying to change the style of a polyline hosted feature layer in ArcGIS Online. The layer is editable. I am using the layer visualization menu item for the hosted feature layer. I have selected the layer and I have adjusted the colour of the line. In the visualization the colour is rendered correctly. I saved the layer.
When I request the JSON of the layer definition for our application, the colour of the polyline is still the default purple.
This used to work for polyline hosted feature services and still does for point and polygon feature services. I have not tried it for a while, so I don't know when this issue started.
Is there something I am missing here?
