Network Analyst street layer not working

Hi,
I am getting an error every time I try and use the street layer for network analyst from ESRI Maps 10.1 Data downloads. I have been in contact with ESRI support and havent been able to solve the issue. The analyst extension is on in both ArcMap and ArcCatalog and I have re-downloaded the data from ESRI Software downloads. Any ideas on why this network layer data set will not work?
