Add elevation Data into OSM

Hi,

I'm using my own network dataset based on OpenStreetMap Data.

Is there a way of joining the start and end elevation of a street segment into the OSM roads, which I can then use as elevation in the created network dataset?

So basicalyl I want to calculate walking routes considering the elevation while estimating the time that is needed for the distance.

If your area of interest is in the US, you could download a DEM and grab the elevation data that way - though be warned that you will not have accurate data for any leveled areas.

Another option is to use Esri's elevation service.Depending on the size of your dataset that may get pricey, though.
