Converting map to Static mesh

Hi all.

I'm looking for any solution to convert part of ArcGis map into a static mesh, so I could work with this anyway I want to. Like so adding snow shader, building anything on it instead of landscape for a far background and many a different things.

However I don't see any way to do it. The most obvious way for me was to merge actor with standard UE tools with baking textures, but it seems to me this is not somewhat even static, because I can't put any foliage or buildings on the ArcGis surface, also if I use actor merging it shows this is not a mesh.

I read here that there is a way to do this with CityEngine or ArcGis Pro, but I don't see any explanations of how to do it exactly.

Thanks for your respond, Eugene Kolodinski.

Hi,

We're actively researching support for static meshes. But we're not quite ready to announce anything just yet, pending additional development and testing.

Thanks
