Shaded Relief function in Image Analysis

Hey All,

I am using the image analysis tool to create a shaded relief from a bathymetry raster in bag format. I did this the other day and the results seemed to be what I desired: a shaded relief that had a much better look than the conventional two layer method, a semi transparent bathy data on top of a hillshaded relief. Anyway, i just used image analysis with the shaded relief funtion to do it again, and now a section of the data is all one color. See attached images and comparison. The image on the right is just color ramped bathymetry. The image on the left is the image that seems flawed. It seems as tho the data in gray is not being included in the ramp. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
