Hi all,

I am working on a project in ArcGIS Pro, and I have a set of layers that have attributes displayed on a map with specific colors. I want to import these layers to a new geodatabase, while keeping the color scheme associated with the displayed attributes. Is there a way to do this? I have looked into exporting templates and such, but that doesn't seem to be the right approach.

Thanks

Hi, Katherine. You can simply create a handy (save somewhere common) layer file to symbolize to or try "Creating a layer symbology file". . .

Good luck,

Joe

Hi Joe,

Thanks! So if I save a layer file to the new geodatabase I'm trying to create for each layer I need unique symbology, when I open a new arc pro project from that geodatabase the symbology will be there?
