I am new to Reporter and was not a previous Crowdsource user, so I am unfamiliar with customizations in that application as the previous version of the Reporter app.

What I want to do

I have a single feature layer with several fields, some I would like users to be able to populate via Reporter InstantApp (e.g. issue location, date, description, category), others I would like internal users to be able to edit via a Dashboard (e.g. status, status date, status comments) and these would not be available to public users to edit, but perhaps see in the web map.

Is it possible to customize the fields in the Reporter InstantApp report?

@LinzMess Yes, this is possible. The fields that can be edited in the Reporter Instant App are based off the edit form you create in the map viewer (help topic for steps on setting this up). You will also need to configure the popup in the Map Viewer, that is what will be shown in the side panel when a user views other reports. Below is a screenshot of how the edit form is exposed in Reporter.

This is where the pop-up of a feature is shown in the Reporter app.

I'd also suggest checking out the Manager Instant App for editing records after they are submitted. Hope this helps!

Thank you! The form configuration in my webmap was exactly what I needed! And I took your advice and used the manager template for editing submitted records.
