Manager Template - lock fields/columns in table from being edited

Is there a way to lock and disable edits for certain fields/columns in the Manager app? I think I saw in the documentation that if in the Smart Form those are set to read-only, it would lock it in the table, but this did not work for me.

If not possible, the alternative is to remove those fields from the table, but it's not ideal in case someone wants to use the table view for reference and viewing.

Hi @Tiff

Setting field editability in the form builder only applies to forms themselves, it does not carry over to the table. To control editability of fields in general, you can go do that on the layer's item details page.

Click Data > Click Fields > Select the Field > Change the Editing setting for that field.

Will this for sure carry over to the Manager app in the table view? I was thinking this might be the resolution too.

I just haven't used that new functionality much (enable/disable editing within the field itself) before and there was a layer we did disable editing for and there were some issues we ran into with projections, overwriting the layer, etc. and I wasn't sure if that new functionality caused that, just since it's very new.

Hi @Tiff

Yes, configuring editability on the field itself should carry into all downstream apps.
