Can the default map extent be set for the Layer Showcase app?

I am using the ArcGIS Online > Configurable Apps > Make a Gallery > Layer Showcase 

All the data that i have is for the country of Wales. It displays a world map by default and the user has to zoom in to the country to see my layers properly.

When i load up the app i would like the map extent to automatically zoom in on the country. Is this possible?

Yes, you can set a custom start location in Layer Showcase.  While configuring the app, navigate to General tab, scroll to the bottom and check on Specify a custom start location.  This allows you to change the start extent for the app.
