Hi all. I'm configuring an Atlas app. I have a layer that represents my area of interest. Is there a way I can keep that layer in the Atlas app as I switch between maps rather than having to go to layers and add it each time I switch a map?
I'm not the creator of all the maps so I can't add the layer to the maps ahead of time for the Atlas app users.

Hi Ariel, Thanks for reaching out with this suggestion. We have seen similar requests for Atlas and are looking into supporting this. For your use case, would the ability to set a single layer as the "reference layer" for your app be sufficient? Would there be a need to set more than one layer? Do you foresee the need for the app user to be able to choose their own reference layer or would you as the app author prefer to have control over what reference layer is used? Happy to discuss more about what you would like to see in Atlas.

@KristaMcPherson thanks for confirming it's not currently possible!
For my current use case I as the app author would like to set a single layer as the reference layer (in this case a specific district).
However, if this app ends up being popular we have multiple districts, rather than having to create an item or view of the layer for each district being able to use url parameters to filter the reference layer would allow using one atlas app for multiple districts rather than having to create multiple apps.
Happy to share more if this prompts more questions than it answers.
