ArcGIS Instant Apps- Ability to create organization sharable templates

Hello Esri, 

We recently created a standardization for our organization's Instant Apps. This is ideal to provide our end users with a consistent user experience and better accessibility. In this standardization we've set guidelines for default tools and placement of widgets in the position manager. 

We'd like to propose that the Instant Apps team consider creating templates for these apps that can be shared throughout the organization. In the spirit of equivalency across ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS StoryMaps already does this with templates in their application.

These serve as great launch points for users to have some of the 'housekeeping' settings already completed. 

Ideally a templates option could be listed here in the Instant Apps webpage: 

This would be great enhancement to Instant Apps, please let me know if you'd like any examples!

Agreed, this isn't so far off from the shared theme option that was set up a while ago, just need some extra default settings to apply by default, would love this as it would streamline creating new instant apps for us!

Thanks for reaching out about this topic! 

I'd love to get some additional information on this enhancement. Are there specific tools you would like to see included within a shared template? (Measure tools, Zoom tools, Header, Introduction Window, etc.) For some of the tools, the configuration is quite basic (On or Off - Zoom tools), while others - the configuration is a bit more intensive (Logo, theme colors, on/off - header). In the proposed shared configuration, you would like to see both types of configurations preserved? 

Also, along with tools/capabilities being on/off - would placement of the tools require being preserved in this shared configuration?
