Insights - Selection tools not available for view-accounts

Currently, when a dashboard is shared (and accessed via the ‘view-URL’), no selection tools are available.
The selection tools; allow to link the dashboard with the map-representation. But these are only available for the creator of the insights dashboard. 

Would it be possible to provide selection tools, linking dashboards & maps, for viewer accounts.
