Custom Boundary Layers for Insights.  Currently we have access to Esri USA or World Boundaries, I would like the ability to create our own sd file with our own Boundaries, or allow us to reuse Boundary Based Services as the Boundary layer for Portal and Insight Access.

Hi there Ted, thank you for submitting this idea!

I wanted to check - are you using ArcGIS Enterprise here? You should be able to use any boundary files that you upload to Portal for ArcGIS within Insights. Any custom geography can be published using the Publish Boundary Layers tool, and should be able to work within Insights. Some documentation on publishing boundary layers are here, specifically the information on using the publishboundarylayers.bat command line tool will be most helpful. If this workflow did not work for you, let me know and we may need to investigate further.
