My facilities team is asking for scenario planning capabilities.
We're using Floor Plan Editor to create proposed layout changes, and Space Planner for occupant scenario planning.
What is the recommended workflow for getting a proposed floor plan layout from Floor Plan Editor into Space Planner so we can experiment with occupant seating assignments?
From what I've gathered in the documentation and community discussions, it seems that a modified Floor Plan Editor layout isn't available in Space Planner until it has been merged into the default floor plan.
The challenge is that I don't want to merge the proposed floor plan until the renovations are complete, since staff are actively using the current environment for hotel reservations and other day-to-day operations.
Is there a recommended workflow for supporting both renovation planning and occupant scenario planning without impacting the production environment?
