I am pretty new to Hub. Is there a way to copy/paste a row or text card if you want to recreate all the settings in a new row card or  text card?

For example I have this button and text and I added a new text card and typed the smaller text and now I want to add a similar button. Is there a way to copy what I have in terms of settings in the top text or row card and just replace the text? I don't see any way to copy/paste anything? Is each new section always from scratch?@##

Hi Lauren. If I'm understanding your question correctly, the answer is two-fold. Row cards and their settings can't currently be copied/pasted, so you'd have to add a new row card to the layout and manually configure it like the original.

However, text card content can be copied exactly. Here's how:

  1. Click the settings gear for the text card you want to copy.
  2. Click the little code button to enable code editing mode.
  3. Copy all the code to your clipboard.
  4. Drag new text card to desired position in layout.
  5. Enable code editing mode for the new text card.
  6. Delete the code you see.
  7. Paste in the code from the original text card.

This is the button for enabling code edit mode on the text card ^^

I hope this helps!

Thanks for your reply Andrew. I think I understand better than you can copy things individually from a text card but there is no way to copy a section or group of cards, necessarily.
