Cloned HUB page has same exact page name

The documentation says that if you clone a HUB site, then all the pages are also cloned AND should be named "originalpage 1":

That is not what is happening.  The cloned pages have EXACTLY the same name as the original pages.  That is dangerously confusing, as it would be easy to edit or even delete the wrong page.

All the cloned stuff also gets dumped right into the root folder.  It would be way better if all cloned materials got put into a dedicated folder automatically.

Hi Jay, is this an idea or a question? Were you able to go in and change your cloned page names even though the original clone had the same name?

I suppose this is best characterized as a complaint...  My primary point was that the HUB Clone process is not working as documented - it is supposed to create cloned pages that have their own unique names.

Yes, it is possible to change the names of the pages.

I've created an Idea related to this issue:  Give cloned HUB pages unique names - Esri Community
