Folks:
I have an on-the-go ph sensor that has about 1 inch between electrodes. Both electrodes have 1 set of GPS coordinates. I would like to offset one electrode by a certain distance X and Y. Is there a way I can do that easily with arcgis. I like to avoid making changes in excel.
I was playing around and tried reprojecting it to the same coordinates but changing the X-origin just a bit but that doesn't offset the points with a predictable distance predictable way. Anyway have any other ideas.
If there are no easy tools, I will add XY coordinates, add a distance to the x y coordinates for one electrode and then make a new shape file using the adjusted coordinates.
Thanks,
Tom
