Hi Im trying to run geostatistical analyst's IDW but keep getting the following error: 'you do not have the necessary license to execute the tool' followed by: 'adding this item is not supported or the application that opens it is not found'
I have checked my ArcGIS desktop manager and it says i have a valid license for geostatistical analyst. Im confused as to why it doesnt work. Cheers
You may just need to enable the extension. In ArcMap, go to Customize pulldown menu and select Extensions. Make sure Geostatistical Analyst is checked. If that isn't the problem, you'll need to contact Esri support.
