Not receiving data in GeoEvent Processor

I recently installed GeoEvent Processor on our server that also runs ArcGIS for Server 10.2.2. I've been trying to set up the Twitter Connector that you can find here, without any sucess. I follow all the steps in the tutorial, but when I create the input connector and start it, I don't receive any data (tweets). Does anyone else have the same problem and can tell me what I'm doing wrong? I've asked the IT-department to open up port 6180 and 6143, maybe I have to open up some other ports as well?

Can you review the Logs (the link is on the upper right corner in your screenshot) if there are any reports about connection failure or authentication error? They may give some hints of what might be a problem.

I've reviewed the logs and unfortunately they don't say anything that may give me a hint of that might be the problem. Thanks for the tip though!

Yes, I can reach Twitter via my browser. I've also tried to generate a new API Key/Access Token, but it still doesn't work.
