we use ArcGIS Cloudbuilder for AWS to deploy ArcGIS Enterprise 12.1 and we also select a Geoevent Server server role. the deployment asked for an independent Dns URL for geoevent server and the deployment finish and everything seems fine, I have my basedeployment on a single machine, it also works as a web server with portal and server web adaptors and the URL sanbox.gmtgis.net for base deployment. because cloudbuilder asked for a second URL for geoevent, we used sandboxgeo.gmtgis.net for geoevent server role. and on that machine, that also works as a web server, has installed geoevent web adaptor.
My arcgis server is federated using sandbox.gmtgis.net and the web adaptor for server, but for geoevent, is using geoeventgeo.gmtgis.net. I notice that the spatiotemporal datastore is register under arcgis server and not under arcgis geoevent, i do not know if that is normal.
Also, when i use my URL for geoevent server manager as sandboxgeo.gmtgis.net/geoevent/manager, I access to arcgis server site for geoevent server instead of geoevent server manager and i do not know why.
i just follow AWS cloudbuilder instructions, but is not working as it suppose to work, did i do something wrong?
