I have a scenario where we receive GPS data via an Input Adapter that listens on a UDP socket. The GPS data is generated from a device that resides in the vehicle. I'd like to know if the GeoEvent Processor Input Adapter (that listens for the message) has the ability to send an Acknowledgement message back to the device letting it know the data was received. With this feature it permits us the ability to have downtown with our system but not lose any data that would have arrived during the downtime.
Is there a way to accomplish this using OOTB GeoEvent Processor features? Or what about customizing the Adapter.
