About "Unknown Spatial Reference"

I work on a project in ArcMap trying to create a web map with urban development zones in Iasi County, Romania. I got stuck inserting new data, dwg format files, Stereo 1970 coordinates into this web map and I get the message:" Unknown Spatial Reference"

What should I do next?

Hello Anca,

Convert the CAD file to feature class (unknown spatial reference). From ArcCatalog, define the spatial reference of the feature class to Stereo 1970. Most probably, the layer extent would be correct for this reference system.

If you don't want to convert the CAD data to shapefile/featureclass (View only), you could define the coordinate system of the data frame to Stereo 1970 in blank ArcMap. Then, add the CAD file to ArcMap.
