Trying to Synchronize Mobile Cache in Arcmap 10.2

I am getting a Background Processing Error.

Just upgraded from ArcGIS 10.1 to 10.2
10.1 worked fine but as soon as I upgraded I get this error

Turn off background processing.

I had a similar error with build mobile cache in 10.2 and it worked fine with background processing turned off.
