Saving ArcGIS Mobile 3.0 project to Server 10 Mobile Content Directory

Hi,

I am wanting to take advantage of the new capabilities in Mobile 3.0, but I need to keep Server at version 10 at the current time.  All mobile projects appear to work fine between the 3.0 client and Server 10 - I can create the project, package the caches, edit data and synchronize through the Server 10 web services without any issues.

When I attempt to use the tools in the Mobile Project Center to upload the project to ArcGIS Server (10), it fails.  Does anyone know if this is (a) supported ; (b) is there a work-around to manually drop the project into the mobile content directory if the upload tool in the project center will not do it?

Any insight would be appreciated.

Hello Ben,

Yes, ArcGIS for Windows Mobile 3.x is supported with ArcGIS Server 10 and I recommend you contact Esri Support and submit a support request to work with an ArcGIS Mobile Server specialist to help troubleshoot your current challenge with ArcGIS Server 10 and ArcGIS for Windows Mobile 3.x releases.
