Mobile Project Center Page Customization for Custom Extension

I have written an extension that needs to have a custom configuration saved to the mobile project. I have looked in the mobile         project file and have noticed that built in Tasks save their configurations in the .amp file created in the project folder. I have looked   for a sample on how to do this but I haven't been able to find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This sample uses text boxes in the mobile project center app to store information to the project .amp file
