Difference between the ArcGIS for Windows Mobile application and ArcGIS Mobile?

Can you explain the difference between the ArcGIS for Windows Mobile application and ArcGIS Mobile
Why are some documents call ArcGIS Mobile others call ArcGIS for Window Mobile? I don't know.

You could try searching this Forum or the ESRI tutorials first.

But the main difference is:

1. Windows Mobile (the phone App)

• Have to have a server for editing layers and it's online.

ArcGIS Mobile

• Can work with a server.


• Can work with just a Desktop


• Can work OFFline and ONline
