ArcView for mobile phones

I am not sure of the cappabilities of any ArcView product for mobile phones (i phone, android, Blackberry)  but i would like something that I can use in the field, preferably on my phone, and then bring back to the office, and transfer onto my computer.  I work for the Appalachian Mountain Club, primaraly doing trail work. 

Does anyone have any thoughts, as to what direction i should be looking in?

The mobile GIS application you use would depend upon the operating system of your phone. What type of phone will you be using in the field?
