ArcGIS Mobile 10 workflow problems

Successfully installed ArcGIS Mobile 10 on my Motion tablet to do dis-connected editing.  Please reveiw my Mobile deployment notes attached.  The creation of the cache from ArcMap/Create Mobile Map tool is straight forward.  The rest of the workflow seems very inefficient.  I called ESRI and they did say this was the "best practice", hmmmmm, not sure of that, any ideas anyone???

Hi Chad,

The workflow you are using is correct for working with desktop products created out of the MPC.  You will encounter that Error with the mobile cache and it has been logged as a bug (NIM063879).  The workaround you are using is correct and documented here.

I wrote a blog topic about using the caching tools that will bypass the MPC if you do not need any of those settings and just want to use the tools.
