Is there a compatibility issue with 10.0 and mobile 3.0?  I tried to synchronize a mobile cache from ArcGIS mobile 10.0 into my 10.1 map document, but it didn't seem to upload any changes.

Hola Lane,

I would say yes to your question, simply because you are coming out of one version of ArcGIS Mobile. You are then attempting to come back into a different version of ArcGIS Mobile, this is not suggested work flow. If you have already upgraded and not able to uninstall/re-install the old version of ArcGIS Mobile (2550) and have data in the mobile cache. I am including a product which will extract the data from the mobile cache, to shapefile format.  Gracias, Lane!

I have upgraded to ArcGIS Desktop 10.1 since.  The mobile cache to .shp file tool does not work. Is that because I have 10.1 installed now instead of 10.0?

Lane,

Are you running on a Win7 or XP OS? In the comments area of the tool, you will see where this tool does not work but has been suggested to the ideas site, on a Win7. Gracias, Lane!

I am running XP. Is there a certain location I need to put the unzipped tool folder? From the description on the download page it looks like you have to have both the Desktop 10.0 and Runtime 10.0 on your computer for it to work. I've got version 10.1 of those on my computer.

Lane,

I would say this does not need to be within a certain location, you will just need to locate this after it has installed. Then you will be able to open the executable which will in turn, provide you with a GUI that will allow you to export to shapefile. Gracias, Lane!
