Right after I installed Esri Maps for Office (version 2), I was unable to edit an embedded Excel table in Word. Uninstalling Maps for Office and restarting Word fixed the problem.
Is there a work around to be able to edit embedded spreadsheets and run Maps for Office?
I'm running Office 2010, 64-bit. The post on Microsoft's site that led me to believe it was Maps for Office is at the link below. Maps for Office is the only COM extension I had installed.
Hi Greg, Thanks for bring this issue to our notice. I am able to repro this issue on a machine with Office 2010 and the latest add-in.
We will look into this issue further here to get a better idea on the add-in interfering with the working of Excel objects in other Office applications.
