We have installed the AGS into our 2010 SharePoint test environment at the top site collection.  A child site has been created and I have full control.  The only problem is the ArcGIS Mapping Administration does not apear under my user in any of the site settings pages.  To top that the ArcGIS Mapping document libraries (configuration, extensions, symbols) are on the top level site and I don't have permission to them either.

Does anyone have suggestions on how to allow permission for me to access the Administration tools and libraries?

TIA,
Jeff

Jeff,
When you installed ArcGIS Mapping for Sharepoint, did you activate the the feature for the site/site collection? This should be part of the install process.

You could also check out this FAQ document. The last FAQ might help you I think - activating the ArcGIS Mapping for Sharepoint feature through the Site Collection feature link.

I finally got around to opening a ticket with ESRI and I found out why the ARCGIS Mapping Administration tools are unavailable to me.  To have access to the admin tools I will have to be added to the SP Administrators group.
