We are pleased to announce the release of Esri Maps for SharePoint 3.0.1. Esri Maps for SharePoint supports Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and 2013 and offers interactive and configurable mapping components that can give you a geospatial view of your organization??s data. The ability to visualize and interact with data through maps can be extraordinarily beneficial, as it has the power to reveal larger patterns and trends that can lead to better insights and more informed decisions.
Key new features of Esri Maps for SharePoint 3.0.1 include the following:
Localization support for 21 languages: Arabic, Chinese (Simplified), Danish, Dutch, Estonian, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Lithuanian, Latvian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Portuguese (Brazilian), Romanian, Russian, Spanish, and Swedish.
Support for custom location types in the Esri Maps Locate workflow. This enables users to create color coded maps using any region (e.g. a map of profit by sales territory).
Geostatistical hot spot analysis. Unlike simple heat maps, Hot Spot analysis allows users to identify the statistically significant outliers in their data on a map.
Check out the Esri Maps for SharePoint site on ArcGIS.com for information on getting started, how to download, and getting help using the product. If you have specific questions or issues, be sure to take advantage of the Esri Maps for SharePoint forum to get help from the Esri user community.
