Get this error on upgrade: "Error: Cannot add the specified assembly to the global assembly cache: Microsoft.SqlServer.Types.dll."

Please post your configuration. For example:

SharePoint Web Front End on Machine A
SharePoint App Server on Machine B
SQL Server 2012 on Machine C


We are investigating this issue. What version of SQL are you using?

This issue is fixed in next release of v3.0.1 due mid-October.
