Custom Locator Type - Polyline Esri Maps For Office

I am having problems adding a location type that is a feature service with polyline geometry type

I have version 2.0.2.583 running (or that is what my version says)

when I add a locator type and use a search for "features1000" at this url - http://services1.arcgis.com/hLJbHVT9ZrDIzK0I/arcgis/rest/services/features10000/FeatureServer I only get the polygon and point feature layers to choose from
